UPMC and IOES acquire Clane General Hospital

Private healthcare operator UPMC in partnership with the Institute of Eye Surgery (IOES) recently acquired Clane General hospital which has been renamed UPMC Kildare Hospital.

UPMC and the Institute of Eye Surgery already worked together in the UPMC owned Whitfield Clinic and are committed to collaborating on the delivery of an ophthalmology network of excellence.

Elaine Mc Grath of Reddy Charlton Solicitors advised the Institute of Eye Surgery in connection with the transaction.
