Meet Sarah Flynn

In our December newsletter we had the pleasure of announcing that Reddy Charlton LLP had taken over the private client arm of the well-known Dublin law firm, Corrigan and Corrigan.  We were also delighted to announce that Sarah Flynn had joined us as a Partner in our Private Client Department with a view to developing and servicing that newly acquired business, but also, with a view to enhancing the current services we provide to our clients.

The provision of Private Client services is a must for our clients as all of us at some point in our lives encounter a need for legal advice on our personal affairs.  This can include Will drafting, Enduring Powers of Attorney and probate matters.  Sarah brings a wealth of experience to our firm in such matters and a flavour of her day to day work is as follows:-

• Estate Administration The majority of Sarah’s day to day work is involved in administering estates on behalf of executors and administrators. This includes cases where a deceased died leaving a Will (probate) and where no such Will was made (intestate administration).  Furthermore, Sarah’s expertise extends to cases where there is an international dimension and also to estates that have a contentious element or are in dispute.
• Will Drafting Sarah’s expertise in Will drafting extends to standard Wills for our clients, but also more complex Wills where our clients have cross border assets.
• Enduring Powers of Attorney Changes came into effect in 2023 on the manner in which Enduring Powers of Attorney are drafted. Sarah offers expert advice in navigating our clients through this process.
• Conveyancing Sarah’s expertise also extend to conveyancing and particularly property disposals which arise in the course of estate administrations.
