IMPORTANT CRO FILING DEADLINE!
Annual Return filing deadline 28 May 2021
The deadline is fast approaching for companies which, having availed of the annual return filing deadline extension granted by the Registrar of Companies last February, have not yet completed those filings.
All companies having an annual return date (‘ARD’) between 30 September 2020 and 2 April 2021, inclusive, must file their annual returns and associated documents by no later than 28 May 2021. Failure to reach this deadline will result in automatic monetary penalties and loss of audit exemption for the following 2 years (if audit exempt). Continued failure to file the annual returns may risk action being taken by the Registrar for the involuntary dissolution of the defaulting company, or on-the-spot fines and/or summary prosecution of the company and/or its officers.
